Chorley Borough Council homelessness and advice service are able to assist those residents who are seeking general housing advice and/or threatened with homelessness within 56 days.  

Please complete the self-assessment form to make a homeless application.

This form should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Please note that the form will time out after 30 minutes of inactivity, and any completed information may be lost.

To make sure we can assist you, you will be required to provide a phone number or email address. Without this, we won’t be able to follow up on your enquiry.

We aim to respond within 2 working days of receiving the request.   

 If you are at risk of rough sleeping or risk of violence, please contact the emergency housing team on 01257 515151. Opening hours for advice are from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).  

If you need emergency housing support outside of these hours, please call the out of hours team on 01772 436756.
